Before I begin about my mini Italian excursion, here's a continuation about my "Hyperdunked!" post....
So I finally UN'DS'ed my hyperdunks and out of 10, i'd have to rate it a good solid 9. If you go to my other blog links on the side, juss click on "UN'DSed" and read the review on the hyperdunk. I pretty much agree with him. The shoe was very comfortable, VERY LIGHT (idk if it's juss a mental thing, but i felt like i was jumping higher), and though i was skeptical, even the ankle protection feels pretty good as well. The only reason i would'n't give it a perfect score is because of the following: 1) plastic feel 2) not zoom air.
1) The "fly wire" technology is amazing no doubt. But the upper of the shoe, especially the sides dont feel like yer traditional basketball shoe. It's not a soft leather, it really feels a bit plastically which take a while to get used to, so these shoes really DO have to get broken in.
2) With other shoes i've used, i really experience the benefit of zoom air. The hyperdunk only has "lunar foam" which actually feels good and keeps yer feet comfortable through out the whole game. But of course, foam doesnt have that "bounce" that zoom can give you.
